Profile
Hey. I'm Jan Repnak, and I'm genuinely enthusiastic about automation.
Born and raised in Mecklenburg, I studied Industrial Engineering at the University of Rostock. These days I work and live in Lüneburg, the greatest place on earth.
At n8n, I help customers design workflow automation that survives real production traffic. That includes AI agents: getting them past the demo stage into something a team can run, audit, and trust. Previously I did the same for HashiCorp on Vault.
Most teams don't need more AI. They need automation that doesn't fall over. Roughly half of what's worth automating needs no model at all, and the interesting problems start when an agent touches production: who approved it, what did it do, and can you prove it afterwards?
